Psychotherapy Referrals

We welcome self-enquiry to discuss your treatment options at Coastal Psychotherapy.  

Dr Garvie and Dr Tartaglia currently have availability to offer online psychotherapy sessions to clients living anywhere in Australia, with Medicare rebates available for every session.

In person psychotherapy sessions in Adelaide - coming soon!

Following your initial enquiry you will be asked for a GP referral to Dr Garvie or Dr Tartaglia so that you can access Medicare rebates for your therapy sessions.

Please ask your GP to make a specialist psychiatry referral for assessment and ongoing treatment. Please note that a referral for a 'Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan' cannot be accepted because these are for psychologists and other allied health professionals.

Please note that Dr Garvie and Dr Tartaglia do not see clients under Medicare item number 291, and do not offer general psychiatry or medication management.
